CORNER BROOK, NL – CBC News Newfoundland & Labrador reports that a two partners are hatching plans to open a small brewery in Corner Brook later this year.
Bootleg Brew Co. is being launched by Matt Tilley and Morgan Turner, co-workers at a sushi restaurant who have been working on the project since early 2016. After months of test batches, they’ve come up with three beers – Hoppy Roger IPA, El Diablo Rojo Rye Ale, and East Coast Pale Ale – that will form their core line-up once the brewery opens.
The pair have set up a crowdfunding campaign in Indiegogo with an aim to raise $5000 in start-up funds, and they hope to be open and brewing somewhere in Corner Brook by this summer.
