TORONTO, ON – Muddy York Brewing has announced details of a new beer that is being released this week to mark the brewery’s 2nd anniversary.
Plank Road Baltic Porter is an 8.8% abv ale described as follows:
We’ve lagered this beer for over 2 months at just above freezing, to produce a very smooth and mellow character despite it’s higher ABV. It has a silky, full body with plenty of malt character. This character is complimented by a noticeable vinous quality with notes of cocoa and sweet coffee, finishing with a pleasant alcohol warmth.
Plank Road will be debuting tomorrow (February 9th) during the Muddy York 2nd Anniversary Party at Lake Inez, a restaurant and beer bar at 1471 Gerrard St. E. in Toronto, where will be on tap for the evening alongside 8 other Muddy York beers.
Following the tap takeover event, the new brew will be available in bottles at the Muddy York retail store, and on tap at select beer bars in Toronto.
