CREEMORE, ON – Creemore Springs Brewery has announced the debut of a new beer brewed especially for Blue Mountain Resort on the occasion of its 75th anniversary.
Smart Alec Ale is a 4.7% abv and 20 IBU unfiltered ale that is based on the Kölsch Style Ale released by Creemore Springs last May as a summer seasonal release.
The year-round beer is named after one of the best known ski runs at Blue Mountain, and is described as having “a bright golden hue and showcases a lovely grainy, bread aroma with hints of fresh pears, and a delicate floral hop aroma with hints of citrus and cassis.”
Smart Alec Ale is available exclusively at the Bullwheel pub on the upper floor of the South Base Lodge, and Jozo’s Original Aprés in the Blue Mountain Inn at the base of Happy Valley.
