Beau’s Continues Ottawa 2017 Series With Tooth & Nail Collaboration Lock Monster ESB

VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All Natural Brewing has announced the release of the third in its monthly series of collaborative beers being as part of the brewery’s partnership with Ottawa 2017.

Lock Monster ESB is a 5.7% abv English-style pale ale created in collaboration with Tooth & Nail Brewing, the Ottawa brewery launched in 2015 by former Beau’s brewer Matt Tweedy and his wife Dayna Guy.

Brewed with UK pale malt and Fuggles & Goldings hops, Lock Monster is described as follows:

Lock Monster pours copper with a light haze and white foam. The aroma offers apricot and light citrus. The flavour is a mellow harmony of biscuity malt, fruit with supporting notes of caramel and treacle. A contrasting balanced hop bitterness asserts itself towards the finish. Delicate wood tannins are present in the aftertaste.

For all beers in the Ottawa 2017 series, a portion of sales will be donated to a charity in the area of the collaborating brewery. For Lock Monster, proceeds will go to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Foundation.

Lock Monster is officially released today (March 2nd), and will be available in 600 ml bottles at the Beau’s brewery store and select retail locations in Quebec. It will also be on tap at Tooth & Nail and select bars and pubs in Ontario, as well as at the Beau’s St. Patrick’s Party on March 11st.
