TORONTO, ON – The Ontario Craft Brewers have announced the establishment of a new beer education scholarship program for women working in the province’s craft brewing industry.
The Women in Craft Brewing Scholarship will cover the costs of first level Cicerone Training for up to six women, including “course registration fees for the interactive e-Learning program, BeerSavvy®, as well as Road to Cicerone course book (Brewing Ingredients & Process) and a full set of Beer Style Flashcards.”
Any female employees of OCB member breweries who are 19+ and have been working at the brewery for more than a year are invited to submit an application for the scholarship by March 31st. Successful candidates will be announced at the end of April.
