HALIFAX, NS – The Craft Brewers Association of Nova Scotia (CBANS) has announced that its member breweries have come together to create a collaboration beer for this year’s edition of Nova Scotia Craft Beer Week, taking place May 5th to 14th, 2017.
The simply named CBANS Collaboration Ale is a Scottish-style ale that is described by the Maritime Beer Report as “deep amber in colour (and) brewed with Horton Ridge Malt and Grain Company pale malt and Scottish Ale yeast for a malty, spicy, complex character”.
An pre-launch for the CBANS Collaboration Ale will be happening this Friday March 31st at Good Robot Brewing in Halifax. In addition to the beer being available to taste, there will be free take-home cans for the first 48 attendees, an announcement of the NS Craft Beer Week events schedule, and more.
