TORONTO, ON – Batch, the Toronto brewpub off-shoot of Creemore Springs Brewery, has announced the release of a new beer created by head brewer Andrew Bartle to mark both the 1st anniversary of its opening and the brewery’s 100th brew day.
Batch 100 Belgian White IPA is a 6.8% abv and 58 IBU ale described as follows:
The White IPA is a hybrid style mixing brewing techniques of traditional Witbier and modern American IPAs brought on by the craft beer boom and love of hop forward, aromatic beers. The beer uses orange peel and toasted coriander and 50% wheat in the grist from the Witbier common in traditional Witbier and dry hopped heavily with Simcoe hops. A cloudy golden with straw hues, and a thick white head from which bold aromas of clementine, mango, peach, pineapple, and light backing of pine.
Batch 100 Belgian White IPA is available now at Batch on draught in the bar and restaurant, and in bottles in the retail store.
