VICTORIA, BC – Phillips Brewing has announced details of its latest limited edition seasonal brand.
Scythe Matters Imperial Hefeweizen is a 7.2% abv wheat beer described as follows:
A standout in its field, this imperial hefeweizen yields a hefty harvest of flavour. Our latest release helps prove that it’s not the size of the scythe that counts, it’s how you swing the blade. This golden giant is fermented with a Bavarian yeast strain that offers a complex ester profile. Notes of bubblegum, clove and banana are all rounded off with citrusy Cascadian hops.
Scythe Matters will be on sale for a limited time at select private liquor stores in BC. It will also be available to sample on draught during a launch event at the Phillips brewery this Thursday April 6th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
