ABBOTSFORD, BC – Field House Brewing has announced the details of the third in its series of four limited edition collaborative ales brewed using a coolship for fermentation.
Field House X Steel & Oak Wild Black Currant Sour is a 7% abv and 30 IBU ale described as follows:
A dark sour, fermented with brett yeast. Pre-fermentation we transferred this malty brew into our Copper Coolship, where we steeped 30lbs of dried organic currants, releasing the sweet and tart characteristics of this intense black fruit.
Wild Black Currant Sour will be released on April 13th, and will be available in 750 ml bottles at on tap at Field House for a limited time.
Previous releases in the series include Field House X Steamworks Wild Muscari Farmhouse Ale and Field House X Brassneck Wild Brett Wasp Sour., and the final collaboration with Four Winds will be released in May.
