ELMSDALE, NS – Canada’s first brewery located inside a grocery store is opening today in the small community of Elmdale, Nova Scotia.
Chill St. Fresh Beer & Cider Market is situated inside the Sobey’s at the Elmsdale Shopping Centre, a location that founder Barry MacLeod chose in order to “bring the brewery to the traffic as opposed to trying to bring traffic to a brewery”.
A variety of beers including Blueberry Wheat, Pilsner, Pale Ale, Honey Brown Ale, White IPA, and Apple Cider are available – or soon will be – in cans and growlers.
