FERNIE, BC – Fernie Brewing has announced details of a new seasonal beer intended to be a “refreshing pairing to weekend camping trips, post-surf celebrating, and long days at the beach.”
Base Camp West Coast Pale Ale is a 5.8% abv and 39 IBU ale with the following description:
A hop forward, light copper coloured pale ale with oats added to enhance the body and mouthfeel. Crystal malts give it a slight caramel flavor and heaps of Mosaic and Ekuanot hops add a strong aroma and flavor of tropical fruits.
Base Camp will be officially launched next month, and will be available through the summer in 650 ml bottles at retailers in BC and Alberta, and on tap at select locations in BC and Manitoba.
