TORONTO, ON – A homebrewing project that is transitioning to a commercial concern has announced its first publicly available brand will be debuting at an event in Toronto later this month.
Silly Sir Brewing has been founded by Matti Cowan, who has been using the name for his homebrewing experiments since 2015. Together with Sara Yong, he is shifting the label over to a contract brewing operation, with a goal to “diversify the craft beer scene in Ontario by blending essential flavours from around the world into our creations.”
The first commercial release from Silly Sir will be Easy Tiger, a wheat ale cold-steeped with lemongrass, and the first taste will be available at a Beer & Street Food night being hosted by People’s Pint Brewing on September 23rd at 3030 Dundas West.
