LONDON, ON – Ontario Beverage Network reports that a planned brewery and cafe in London, Ontario has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for renovations, equipment costs, and licensing fees.
Curley Brewing Company is being founded by Nigel Curley and Kelsey Watkinson, who intend to open a “craft beer cafe” focused on vegan beer and food. The vision for the establishment, which is under construction at 1700 Hyde Park Road, is further described on the Indiegogo campaign page as follows:
When you walk into our welcoming and inviting space, you will notice that all of our decor has been up-cycled to reduce our environmental impact. Kick back and enjoy fresh artisan baked goods crafted with house brewed beer and left over grains. Sip on locally roasted coffee, hand crafted teas, house made kombucha, and of course, choose from a variety of craft beers brewed in house. Everything is fresh, vegan, and available for dine in and take out served in compostable packaging.
Curley Brewing is aiming to raise $15,000 by September 20th, although since it is a flexible goal, even a final amount less than that will go towards the project.
