PORT MOODY, BC – The Parkside Brewery has announced the release of three new beers, including a quintuple-hop pale ale, and a pair of SMaSH (single malt & single hop) IPAs.
Parkside Motel (5.8% abv & 40 IBU) was brewed with Mosaic, Galaxy, Lemondrop, Citra, and Cashmere hops, and is described as “a hop forward hazy pale with heaps of tropical & berry notes that provide a crisp & balanced offering.”
Galaxy SMaSH IPA and Citra SMaSH IPA (both 6.8% abv & 60 IBU) were each brewed with Pilsner malt and their namesake hops. Galaxy has “distinct passionfruit and citrus notes,” while Citra has “notes of citrus, lychee, apricot and melon.”
All three beers were released at the brewery last Friday in 473 ml cans, and will be available starting this week at local private liquor stores.
