NEW WESTMINSTER, BC – Steel & Oak Brewing has announced that after numerous requests from customers, its flagship Red Pilsner is now available in cans for the first time.
According to the announcement, the relatively long six week production time for the beer combined with limited tank capacity made it difficult to “brew enough beer to satisfy the craft beer can enthusiasts” in the past. But with the installation of two new 10,000 litre fermentation tanks over the summer, it’s become possible to keep up with the demand for cans.
As a result, Red Pilsner is now available in 4 x 473 ml cans at the brewery, and soon at select liquor stores in British Columbia, replacing the 650 ml bomber format that the beer was distributed in previously.
