GRAVENHURST, ON – Sawdust City Brewing has announced the upcoming release of a special limited edition beer that hearkens back to the brewery’s roots.
To mark the 1000th brew at the facility, Lone Prime Original IPA (6.8% abv, 60 IBU) was brewed using the recipe for the original homebrewed version of the brewery’s flagship Lone Pine IPA. It’s described as follows:
Lone Prime pours a deep, rich red with big dank, piney aromas of northwest US hops. Much more malt forward than our current version of Lone Pine, it boasts loads of crystal malts, laying a heavy base to balance the excessive bittering hops used throughout the boil. Warming, hoppy and satisfying, Lone Prime is a salute to our past and an affirmative nod to our future.
Lone Prime Original IPA will be released on October 19th at the Sawdust City retail store and saloon where it will be exclusively available while it lasts.
