VICTORIA, BC – Phillips Brewing and BC Hop Co have announced the release of a new beer that puts the spotlight on a strain of hops that are distinctive to the area.
Lumberjacked Fresh Hop Pale Ale was brewed using Lumberjack hops, which are unique to BC Hop Co’s Sumas Prairie farm, and are described as “predominantly bitter with notes of melon, sweet citrus and hints of clove and allspice.”
Lumberjacked will be available in 650 ml bottles at select private liquor stores in B.C., and on draught exclusively at the three locations of Tap & Barrel in Vancouver while supplies last.
