VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All Natural Brewing has announced details for the latest in its monthly series of collaborative beers being released as part of the brewery’s partnership with Ottawa 2017.
Over Throne (6% abv, 20 IBU) is a rose and maplewood saison created in collaboration with Calgary’s Wild Rose Brewery, and is described as follows:
Our version of this classic style was brewed with organic maplewood-smoked wheat and rye malts, as well as organic rose petals and rosehips. Over Throne pours reddish brown with a white foam. The aroma is floral and mildly smoky. The flavour offers balanced pepper and sweet smoke notes. The finish is dry, with lingering rose petal impressions.
As with all beers in the Beau’s Ottawa 2017 series, a portion of sales will be donated to a charity selected by the guest brewery, with the recipient in this case being The Canadian Legacy Project, an organisation which “advocates for our veterans and supports them by creating programs and events to help improve their everyday lives.”
Over Throne is available now at the Beau’s taproom, retail store and delivery service. It will also be available in mid-November at liquor retailers in Alberta, as well as on tap at select bars and restaurants in the province.
