SQUAMISH, BC – Howe Sound Brewing has announced that its annual winter seasonal named after a legend of BC and Canada’s craft brewing scene is back for another year.
Father John’s Winter Ale (5.5% abv, 18 IBU) honours John Mitchell, “Howe Sound’s original brewer and one of the founders of Canada’s craft beer renaissance.” It’s described as follows:
Our long time favourite is a rich malty seasonal ale brewed for the winter months with a blend of fresh ginger, nutmeg, vanilla and molasses. This beer combines notes of sweet biscuit, roast and caramel with a spice blend that is nicely balanced. It brings with it memories of winter cheer and holiday warmth.
Father John’s Winter Ale is available now at the Howe Sound retail store and select liquor stores in British Columbia.
