WINNIPEG, MB – Tree Brewing and Fort Garry Brewing have announced the release of a new collaborative beer that fittingly combines ingredients and flavours from the West Coast and the Prairies.
Tree Fort IPA (6% abv) was brewed at Fort Garry using a recipe co-created by brewers Tyler Sattler (Fort Garry) and Dave Gokiert (Tree). It’s described as follows:
Tree Fort IPA has spicy notes from Canadian Rye Malt that combine with a malt profile including chocolate, nuttiness and deep fruit. A pile of West Coast hops provides a nose full of spicy, citrus and floral aromas, while also showcasing striking flavors of lemon, grapefruit and stone fruits which blend with the smooth malt body.
Tree Fort IPA will be launched next Monday November 6th exclusively in Manitoba in are part of a mixed six-pack that also includes cans of Tree’s Hop Head IPA and Fort Garry’s Portage & Main IPA.
