ETOBICOKE, ON – Black Oak Brewing has announced that it will be releasing two new beers – both lagers – in conjunction with a special holiday event at the brewery this weekend.
White Out Winter Lager (5% abv, 22 IBU) is described as having a “crisp copper colour [and] spiced hoppy aromas with a creamy malty taste,” while Duotron Lager (4% abv, 15 IBU) is “brewed with oats and unmalted wheat for a creamy texture and slight haze [and] dry-hopped with Citra [for] a hoppy aroma of tropical fruit and citrus.”
Both beers will be launched at the Crafts & Beer Market taking place at Black Oak on Saturday November 25th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Featuring local artisans selling “one of a kind handmade goods and gifts inspired by the craft beer industry,” admission to the Market is $10 for adults, which includes a beer token, of $5 for those under 19. Advance tickets are available online, and 50% of proceeds will be donated to charity.
Following the launch on Saturday, White Out and Duotron will both be available in 473 ml cans at the Black Oak retail store while supplies last.
