VANCOUVER, BC – Luppolo Brewing has announced details of a new limited edition beer that celebrates its first year as a brewery, as well as the launch of a new subscribers’ club for seasonal releases.
Alba Rustic Table Saison (5% abv, 25 IBU) is described as follows:
Alba, or “dawn”, represents our beginning as a brewery. We aged a portion of our first beer in our first barrels and later blended it with a Brett fermented farmhouse ale. The blend was then conditioned for 6 month in the bottle. It pours a pale golden yellow with a persistent white head. Aromas of pepper, pineapple and barnyard funk lead to flavours of spice, tropical and citrus fruit and a pleasant funky Brett finish.
Alba is available now at Luppolo in a limited run of 750 ml bottles.
For 2018, Luppolo has established Quattro Stagioni, a membership plan that entitles members to “a curated selection of 4 limited-release small batch bottles of unique craft beer ranging from, but not exclusive to, barrel aged blends and creative mixed fermentations.” Members will also receive a discount on up to two additional bottles of each release, and two Luppolo-branded tasting glasses.
Quattro Stagioni memberships are available now in the Luppolo tasting room for $80.
