HALIFAX, NS – Good Robot Brewing has announced details of a new competition for all “female and femme-identified” homebrewers.
The FemmeBot Homebrew Competition invites participants to brew a beer in any “pre-prohibition” style, or as further explained by organizer Kelly Costello…:
All we’re going for is ANY style that existed before the production of beer was commercialized, or rather when it was still being produced in the home. By women. So dig into the BJCP style guidelines and check out the History section of your proposed style. It should have all the info you need!
Online registration is now open until February 1st, and beers must be dropped off at Good Robot by March 1st, with winners to be announced at a FemmeBot celebration on March 7th, the day before International Women’s Day.
