CORNER BROOK, NL – Almost a year after it was originally announced, the first brewery in Corner Brook will be officially opening its doors this coming weekend.
Founded by partners Matt Tilley and Morgan Turner, Bootleg Brew Co. actually had a low-key soft opening last weekend, with locals stopping in to try pints, samples, and flights of the brewery’s three core brands – East Coast Pale Ale (5.5% abv, 25 IBU), Hoppy Roger IPA (6.5% abv, 51 IBU), and El Diablo Rojo Amber Rye Ale (6.5% abv, 18 IBU).
The same beers will be on tap when regular hours start, with sales limited to on site consumption for now until pending approvals for growler sales come through.
Bootleg Brew Co. is located at 92 West Street in Corner Brook. For more details including an upcoming announce of business hours, see the brewery’s Facebook page.
