DARTMOUTH, NS – Maritime Beer Report has announced the launch of a new series of beers from Nine Locks Brewing in which brewer Jake Saunders will “be a little more creative and create some new styles outside their core brands and seasonals.”
The first release in the Nine Locks Signature Series is One Foot On The Wagon Session IPA (4.2% abv, 40 IBU), which is described as follows:
All the hop flavour and aroma you need, with less alcohol. Generous additions of Amarillo and Ahtanum hops, both in the whirlpool and dry hop, provide floral, grapefruit, and peachy notes without over the top bitterness. Light body and a refreshingly spritzy finish.
One Foot On The Wagon is available now in growlers at 473 ml cans at the Nine Locks retail store. Cans are also available at private liquor stores in Halifax, and it will be on tap at select craft beer bars in the area while supplies last.
