CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – PEI Brewing has announced that a beer created in collaboration with a local coffee roastery is about to return for another limited run.
Transmitter Coffee Stout (5.2% abv) is a robust stout brewed with coffee from Receiver Coffee Company. It’s described as follows:
Locally roasted coffee brings a new dimension to our stout. Intense coffee aromas dominate but are buoyed by a toffee-like malt sweetness. The finish is silky-smooth thanks to the addition of oatmeal.
A launch party for the new batch of Transmitter will take place Friday February 2nd from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Receiver Brass Shop, featuring Transmitter on tap, food specials, and live music. For more details, see the Facebook event listing.
Following the launch, Transmitter will be available in 473 ml cans at all PEI Brewing/Gahan House retail locations starting on Monday February 5th, and at PEILCC stores soon afterwards.
