CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Upstreet Craft Brewing has announced the return of a beer that took a gold medal at the Atlantic Canadian Brewing Awards when it was first released in 2016.
Black IPA (6.7% abv, 65 IBU) was originally part of the Upstreet’s One Way Series of limited edition beers, and has now shifted over to the more recently launched Flipside Series. It’s described as follows:
The Black IPA pours a deep black with an off white lightly caramel coloured head. It defined hop bitterness but is still very well balanced showing other flavors of coffee and chocolate coming from the specialty malts used and treated with love.
Black IPA is available in 500 ml bottles at the Upstreet retail store while supplies last.
