VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All Natural Brewing is continuing the 2018 edition of FeBREWary – a month of weekly beer launches and related events – with the release of a beer inspired by the national beverage of Japan.
Do No Evil Sake Lager (6% abv, 30 IBU) is described as follows:
Do No Evil was brewed with organic rice added to the mixture of barley malts, then cold-aged on oak stars that have been soaked in sake, which makes an apt accompaniment to its fellow fermented beverage made from grain. A traditional lager provides a clean background for the subtle fruit and wine-like character imparted by accents of rice and sake. Do No Evil pours brilliant gold with a dense white foam. The aroma expresses white grape, lychee, and cereal grain. The flavour imparts tannin and sweet fruit notes with a firm but balanced bitterness. The finish presents refreshing white pepper notes.
Do No Evil will be available on tap at over 370 bars and pubs across Ontario and Quebec, and in 600 ml bottles at the Beau’s retail store starting February 22nd.
