CARLETON-SUR-MER, QC – Southeastern Quebec brewery Microbrasserie Le Naufrageur has announced details of a unique new beer that is being released for its 10th anniversary.
Gose-Sur-Mer (4.25% abv) has been brewed with sea water from the Bay of Chaleur and partly fermented with lactobacillis. The result is described as having “enveloping salty taste, enhanced by fine acidity dominated by notes of apricots, peaches and oranges.”
Gose-Sur-Mer made its debut at last weekend’s La Cuvée d’Hiver festival in Montreal, and will be officially launched on April 5th, when it will be available at the brewery and select craft beer retailers throughout Quebec.
