Craft Beer & Wilderness Retreat Planned for June on Vancouver Island

TAHSIS, BC – A retreat described as the “ultimate all-inclusive getaway for those who love craft beer, gourmet food and spectacular West Coast wilderness” is set for this June on Vancouver Island.

The Craft Beer & Wilderness Retreat has been developed by Brad and Dennyse Harris, a couple who are a charity brewer and an event and retreat planner respectively.

Taking place June 9th to 13th, 2018 at Nootka Sound Resort on Galliano Bay, the five-day retreat will include numerous activities including the following:

Guests will get to brew beer with top B.C. brewers, as well as enjoy craft beer and gourmet food pairings, rare beers, tap-side beer chats and formal seminars. Other items on the itinerary include yoga on the dock, kayaking and SUP boarding, informational lectures on the fascinating surroundings and even a half-day boat tour to historic Yuquot (Friendly Cove) on Nootka Island. Participants will also have the option of chartering a boat and going fishing with Nootka Marine Adventures.

Featured brewers at this inaugural retreat will include Brent Mills of Four Winds Brewery, Michael and Karen Kuzyk of Category 12 Brewing, and Cédric Dauchot of Townsite Brewing.

Tickets for the all-inclusive Craft Beer & Wilderness Retreat can be booked now for $1,599 per person, with the price rising to $1,999 on April 15th. The price includes private transportation to and from Campbell River Airport or Comox Airport.
