NOKOMIS, SK – The Saskatchewan Craft Brewers Association (SCBA) has announced details of a new collaborative beer that has been released to mark the first annual Saskatchewan Craft Brewers Week.
SCBA SMaSH (5.4% abv) was brewed last month at Nokomis Craft Ales by a team of brewers from the 13 members of the SCBA. It’s described as “a single malt and single hop beer incorporating 100% two-row pale malted barley from Saskatchewan’s newest maltster, Maker’s Malt, located near Rosthern, Saskatchewan as well as a relatively new German hop variety called Hallertau Blanc sourced from Northwest Hop Farms in BC’s Fraser Valley.”
SCBA SMaSH was officially released last Friday April 6th at the Bushwakker Brewpub in Regina, and it will be on tap at select bars and restaurants throughout the province during Saskatchewan Craft Brewers Week, which runs from April 7th to 14th, 2018.
