TORONTO, ON – Muddy York Brewing has announced the return of a beer that supports “organizations helping to fight oppression throughout the world.”
Resistance Dry Hopped Lager (5.2% abv, 18 IBU) is described as “the baby brother of our Gaslight Helles Lager [that] presents light and malty on the tongue followed by a citrusy kick courtesy of our old friend Sorachi Ace Hops.”
Partial proceeds from the sales of Resistance will be donated to two of the charities that were supported by last year’s release – Black Lives Matter and LGBT Youthline – as well as new charities White Helmets, a volunteer rescue group in Syria, and Indspire, which offers Indigenous students financial aid for post-secondary education.
Resistance is available now in 355 ml cans at the Muddy York taproom and retail store. T-shirts featuring the logo are also available to purchase, with proceeds going to the same charities.
