TORONTO, ON – Henderson Brewing has announced details of the latest in its Ides Series of monthly limited edition beers, which this month plays off the day of it’s release by promising to be a “beer brewed to pair with smoking weed.”
Zerostomia (3.5% abv) – named after Xerostomia, the dry mouth effect that often comes with pot smoking – is a beer inspired by lower alcohol Czech lagers, described as having a “complex malt profile with notes of bread, water crackers, toasted crumpet balanced by a firm hop bitterness with a grassy/woody note on the finish.”
The Ides of April: Zerostomia will be released today (Friday April 20th) at the brewery, with a launch party at 6:00 PM featuring free beer samples and complimentary pizza from Village Pizza Dovercourt. For more details, see the Facebook event listing.
