Pink Boots Society British Columbia Releases Pink Haze NEIPA

VANCOUVER, BC – The British Columbia chapter of the Pink Boots Society has announced the release of a collaborative beer brewed last month on International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day (ICWBD).

Pink Haze NEIPA (7.2% abv, 48 IBU) was brewed at Bomber Brewing with brewers from Category 12, Coast Mountain, Callister, Dogwood, Four Winds, Luppolo, and Fuggles &Warlock. It’s described as follows:

Pink Haze features a YCH HOPS blend exclusive to this project, including Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe, Palisades & Loral, with copious amounts added to the whirlpool, mid and post fermentation. Then, following the Northeast IPA-style, has been left unfiltered for all your haze craze needs. Fermented warm with a blend of Imperial Juice & wild Sacch Trois yeast donated by Four Winds Brewing, it keeps things juicy with a tropical, citrus finish. 20% Golden Naked Oats, flaked oats & flaked wheat were added to give a nice smooth texture and pilsner malt used for a clean backbone to let the hops shine through.

Sponsors contributing time and materials for the beer included YCH HOPS, Mile 37 Craft Canning, Roam Media, and Associated Labels & Packaging.

Pink Haze is available now in 473 ml cans at select locations in BC. Proceeds will go to the Pink Boots Society to provide educational scholarships and support to women in the brewing industry.
