VANCOUVER, BC – Bring Your Porter to the Slaughter reports that the breweries clustered in the East Vancouver neighbourhood that has become known as the Yeast Van Brewery District have released a special variant of the collaborative beer they released late last year.
Gin-Barrel Aged Double Pale Ale (8% abv) is a batch of the original beer that was brewed at Coal Harbour Brewing with hop contributions from Andina, Bomber, Callister, Doan’s, East Van, Luppolo, Odd Society Spirits, Off the Rail, Parallel 49, Postmark, Powell, Storm, Strange Fellows & Strathcona, and then aged for several months in Odd Society gin barrels.
The new variant is available now at select private liquor stores and tasting rooms. As with the original version, partial proceeds will be donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
