TORONTO, ON – Beers in the Six reports that Northern Maverick Brewing has announced the release of new limited edition beer that may bring to mind another beverage entirely.
Earl of Cheswick ESB (5.6% abv, 25 IBU) was brewed using Earl Grey tea, honey, and lemon zest, and is described as follows:
An ESB, brewed entirely with English pale and crystal malts, Earl Grey tea “dry hopped” post boil, complimenting herbal qualities of the East Kent Golding hops. Subtle lemon hint on the aroma, biscuit, toffee and floral notes in the body. A balanced earthy and tannic bitterness leads to a clean finish, with mild herbal aftertaste.
