CALGARY, AB – Following a sneak preview in late April and an appearance at last weekend’s Calgary International Beerfest, a new Calgary brewery has announced that it will be officially opening later this week.
New Level Brewing has been founded by brothers Drew and James Ross, both graduates of the brewing program at Olds College, and has been in the works for more than a year.
Featuring a 50-seat taproom and pouring glasses and growler fills, New Level will have a variety of beers available at opening, possibly including some or all of those that have been served at the preview events such as Wizard’s Revenge Strawberry Milkshake IPA (7.5% abv), Berserker Blonde Ale (5.5% abv), Leviathan Russian Imperial Stout (10% abv), Fat Elvis Milk Stout (6.3% abv), A Blaze In the Albertan Sky Black IPA (7% abv), God Save the E.S.B. (6% abv), Reapers Choice IPA (7.5% abv), and Saisons In the Abyss (6% abv).
New Level Brewing is located at 7005 Fairmount Dr. in Southeast Calgary. Regular hours will start on Friday May 11th at 3:00 PM, with full details to be announced.
