GORE BAY, ON – The Manitoulin Expositor reports that Split Rail Brewery has added a new beer to its year-round brand line-up.
Manitoulin Gold (5% abv) is a lager named after a flower that grows on Manitoulin Island, and is described as follows:
“It is a light, crisp and refreshing lager,” explained [Split Rail Marketing Director Jaime-Lynn] Kalmikov. “Light in colour, it has a little bit of a citrus to it, with a slight hop finish to it.” In other words, the perfect brew to slake a thirst on a warm summer day.
“It is designed for the summer season,” said Ms. Kalmikov, although she notes that even in the cooler months heading into the warmer weather “it has been going over well.”
Manitoulin Gold is available now at the brewery in bottles, growlers, and kegs. For more details, see the full article.
