BAIE-SAINT-PAUL, QC – Microbrasserie Charlevoix has announced details of a limited edition beer that has been released in honour of the 44th G7 Summit which takes place in the Charlevoix region next month.
La G7 (7% abv) has been brewed using ingredients from the seven member countries of the organization including:
- Canada – barley malt
- United Kingdom – oat malt
- Italy – orzo pasta
- United States – Summit hops
- France – Strisselspalt hops
- Japan – Sorachi Ace hops
- Germany – yeast
La G7 was officially launched at the brewery earlier this week, and has been available for some time at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu where the world leaders will be meeting on June 8th and 9th. It will also be distributed to other select retailers and licensees throughout Quebec.
