HIGH RIVER, AB – The southern Alberta town of High River is about to get its first – and namesake – brewery.
High River Brewing has been founded by Kevin Guichon and Emily Gusse, both of them graduates of the brewmasters program at Olds College.
The brewery and taproom will be launching with four core brands – Floating Barn Pale Ale (4.5% abv), Diving Fox IPA (6.5% abv), Muddy Tail Stout (6.5% abv), and Rising Pheasant Brown Ale (5% abv) – available by the glass and in 976 ml crowlers to go.
For its grand opening weekend, High River Brewing will be open Friday May 18th and Saturday May 19th from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday May 20th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Regular business hours of 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday to Saturday will start next week.
