VANCOUVER, BC – The official collaboration beer for the 2018 edition of Vancouver Craft Beer Week (VCBW) is now available.
As reported last month, this year’s beer was developed by three breweries on B.C.’s Sea-to-Sky Highway – Backcountry Brewing, Beere Brewing, and Coast Mountain Brewing.
The trio came together at Backcountry and crafted a Double Dry-Hopped Pilsner (7% abv) which features “a copious amount of Citra, Mosaic, Vic Secret and Enigma hops.”
The 2018 VCBW Collaboration Beer is available in four-packs of 473 mL cans at select private liquor stores, and on tap at the three collaborating breweries and select bars and restaurants. It will also served at several events during VCBW, which runs from May 25 to June 3, 2018.
Partial proceeds from sales of the beer will be donated to Eastside Boxing Club’s Self Defence Series for female-identified and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
