HALIFAX, NS – Halifax’s weekly arts and culture paper The Coast is 25-years-old this year, and is marking the milestone with a month-long celebration of local beer at Stillwell Beergarden.
Kicking off tomorrow (June 21st) and running through July, Toast The Coast will feature exclusive beers – and a cider – from local producers, with 5% of profits from each brew being donated to a different local charity, including the following:
- Sorry by Good Robot Brewing for Bryony House
- Love The Way We Love by Propeller Brewing for North End Community Health Centre
- This Beer Is Toast! by Garrison Brewing for Feed Nova Scotia
- And the Hazy Sea by Spindrift Brewing for Ecology Action Centre
- Voice of the Doggos by Brightwood Brewery for SPCA Nova Scotia
- Wheatly Edition by Off Track Brewing for SPCA Nova Scotia
- Ahead by a Quarter Century by Boar Back Cider for the Downie Wenjack Fund
