ST. JOHN’S, NL – Yellowbelly Brewery has announced the release of a new beer dedicated to “all the Newfoundlanders and Labradorians working in the oil and gas industries at sea and on land.”
Gravity Base Black IPA (5.3% abv, 60 IBU) is described as follows:
Deep ruby in colour from the use of roasted wheat, it is brewed with Pacific Gem, Citra, and Topaz hops. We then dry-hopped it with Motueka. The resultant beer is toasty, malty, bitter, fruity and balanced.
Gravity Base Black IPA is now on tap at the YellowBelly brewpub, and in growlers and 1 litre bottles at the YellowBelly Takeaway.
