DUNDAS, ON – Shawn & Ed Brewing has announced that one of its flagship brands is about to be available in a new format that has “all the benefits of a can in addition to the benefits of a bottle.”
Aluminum bottles of LagerShed Original (5.2% abv) will be rolling out soon, and are being promoted as a “larger volume and unbreakable alternative for outdoor living this summer.”

The bottle’s sleek design not only has an attractive aesthetic and feels great to hold and drink from, but it has all the benefits of a can in addition to the benefits of a bottle. From the beginning the company has invested in bottling beer rather than canning it. This significant investment was made in the name of quality; to avoid the exposure to air that takes place during canning which can oxidize the beer even before it is packaged.
The 473 ml aluminum bottles of LagerShed Original will be available starting in early July at licensed Loblaw’s stores in Ontario, with distribution to other retail outlets including LCBO, Beer Store, and other select grocery stores to follow soon afterward.
