CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The Atlantic Canada Beer Blog reports that PEI Brewing has released a new beer to mark the 20th anniversary of local rugby squad The Mudmen.
Sin Bin Kölsch (4.4% abv, 14 IBU) is described by ACBB as follows:
Sin Bin is a Kölsch brewed in the traditional sense, meaning that it was fermented with a Kölsch yeast strain at temperatures somewhere between those typical for a Lager and Ale, and then lagered for a brief period to allow the flavours to meld together. The final product is “bright and crisp, with some German noble hop character”, with some fruity esters from the yeast. It’s easy-drinking with a light bitterness in the finish.
Sin Bin launched this past weekend and is available now at PEI Brewing and select bars while supplies last.
