NEWMARKET, ON – Market Brewing has announced the release of a new limited edition beer.
Phantom (7.7% abv, 55 IBU) is a New England style IPA described as follows:
A fruity hop aroma up front – think citrus marmalade with a side of melon and pineapple. Some dank notes on the tail end add some earthy counter points to the mix. On the palate, a soft creamy mouthfeel is like a pillow to the continuation of hops character similar to the aroma. Slight notes of candied orange peel with a pithy undertone. Bitterness is enough to leave a perceivable bite, but only enough to balance the soft, round, malty backbone.
Phantom is available now in 473 ml cans and on tap for glasses and growler fills at Market Brewing.
