OWEN SOUND, ON – A new brewpub in Owen Sound has announced the release of its first beer.
Mudtown Station Brewery & Restaurant opened earlier this year in a former railway station, and has been operating as a restaurant serving food by chef/co-owner Tyler Cunningham and beer from other Ontario breweries while work on the brewhouse was being completed.
With the system now up and running, brewer/co-owner Morag Kloeze has launched the in-house brewing program with a Brown Ale that is as yet unnamed. Customers and social media followers have been asked to suggest names for the beer, and the winning suggestion will receive a free growler.
Mudtown Station is open daily with the exception of Tuesdays, and serves a full menu including lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. For more details, see the Mudtown Station website and Facebook page.
