OROMOCTO, NB – The Atlantic Canada Beer Blog reports that a new nano-brewery will be launching its first beer tomorrow (August 31st) in Oromocto, a small town southeast of Fredericton.
morALE Brewsters has been founded by “a team of 4 serving military members and one military wife,” including Rémi Lévesque, Nicholas Matheson, Bruno Plamondon, Samuel Roy, and Johanna Osborne.
The 1-barrel brewery is located in Lévesque and Osborne’s basement, and will be producing beer that will be packaged exclusively in 19 litre kegs for local bars and restaurants.
The first morALE release is Cornflake Cream Ale, which will be available on tap tomorrow at Griffin’s Pub in Oromocto. Six other beers – Red Over Blue Red IPA, Hops Honour APA, Boot Camp Brown Ale, Bug Out Milk Stout (BUG OUT), Pte. Bloggins Belgian Blonde, and 9ner Domestic Cucumber Wheat Ale – will follow soon.
