BURLINGTON, ON – Nickel Brook Brewery has announced details of the next release in its monthly Funk Lab series of sour and barrel-aged beers, as well as a new session IPA.
Uncertainty Principle No. 2 is a sequel to June’s Funk Lab release, as is described as follows:
The second installment in our barrel-aged sour series, this one’s a real mouthful. A golden sour aged in third-use whiskey barrels for 2 years with a blend of Brett D and St Remy Abbey yeasts. THEN back-blended with Uncertainty Principle No.1. THEN aged on Sour Niagara Montmorency cherries. It’s just kinda nuts, really.
Uncertainty Principle No. 2 will be available on Saturday September 15th exclusively at the Nickel Brook retail shop and online store.
Lost In Orbit is a space-themed session-friendly ale with the following notes:
We blasted a New England IPA into the Stratosphere and when it finally came down, it was practically floating. At a crisp and crushable 4.5% abv, but packed with tons of dry-hopped citrus hop aromas and juicy hazeboi flavour, this is the perfect beer for passing the time while drifting through the final frontier.
Lost In Orbit will be released on Saturday September 29th, and will be available in 473 ml cans at Nickel Brook and select LCBO locations.
