CALGARY, AB – Eight months after launching its beers via bars and retailers in Alberta, Legend 7 Brewing has announced the opening of its taproom in Calgary’s “Barley Belt” neighbourhood.
Overseen by general manger Chris Willis and brewmaster Matt Dean, Legend 7 pays tribute to “powerful influence of [the number] seven“, citing examples such as the seven deadly sins, seven saintly virtues, seven days of the week, and seven notes on the musical scale.
The taproom and retail store offers all of the Legend 7 beers – including Serpens Pilsner (4.8% abv), Dark Gate Porter (5% abv), and Patience Pale Ale (4.5% abv) – as well as a light food menu.
Legend 7 Brewing officially opens on Friday September 21st at 4025 9th St SE in Calgary. For more details, see the brewery website and Facebook page.
